Elena Mazilu is a Romanian contemporary painter developing a practice focused on poetic surrealism, emotional abstraction and symbolic visual language.

Her work does not aim to represent reality literally, but to create atmospheric spaces where emotion, memory and intuition become visible.

Alongside her professional background in IT, painting has become a gradual and deeply personal transition toward a more intuitive and expressive form of work.

Through acrylic, oil and mixed media, she explores fragmented figures, dreamlike spaces, symbolic objects and layered surfaces.

Her artistic practice is currently evolving through formal study, experimentation and independent research.
